As August approaches, James and I realize that our lives will be busy and hectic over the next few weeks. This recipe is one that would fit easily into anyone's busy schedule because it is so quick. It is also a favorite for those football watching nights that will be here before we know it.
Sloppy Joes:
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped celery
1-10 3/4 ounce can tomato soup
1/4 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
Brown the meat with onion and celery. Drain and return to pan. Mix all remaining ingredients with the meat. Lower heat and simmer 20 minutes. This is best served on hamburger buns with Hashbrown Casserole as a side item.
