Mandarin Romaine Salad:
Romaine lettuce
1, 11-ounce can Mandarin oranges, drained
2 green onions, thinly sliced
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons raspberry vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Combine lettuce, oranges and green onions in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Combine oil, sugar, vinegar, parsley, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Shake well. Sprinkle salad with pecans. Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat.
