Oh My Gosh, It's Goulash!

This is Paula Deen's recipe, but I am okay with that. James and I have made this our Halloween night meal for the past couple of years now. It is well worth your time, and if you are feeding a crowd, it will work nicely.

Goulash:

2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 lb. ground turkey (I do not use ground turkey in ours.)
1 large onion, finely diced
3 cups water
1 29 oz. can tomato sauce
2 15 oz. cans petite cut diced tomatoes
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
3 bay leaves
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp House Seasoning (1 cup salt, 1/4 cup pepper, 1/4 cup garlic powder)
1 Tbsp. salt
2 cups dried elbow macaroni

In a Dutch oven, saute ground beef with the onion over medium high heat. Drain the meat, and return to the pot. Add 3 cups water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, soy sauce, House Seasoning, and salt. Stir well. Place lid on the pot, and simmer for 25 minutes. Add the macaroni, stirring well Simmer for 20 more minutes. Turn off heat, and remove bay leaves.
