Where's the Beef?

Tender Beef Brisket:

1, 4-pound fresh beef brisket
1, 15-ounce can tomato sauce
1, 12-ounce can beer
1 cup chopped green pepper
2/3 cup chopped onion
2 T brown sugar
2 T balsamic vinegar
2 T Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp prepared mustard
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper

Cut brisket into thirds. Place into 5-quart slow cooker. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Pour over beef. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hour or until meat is tender.
